A new sketchbook

06/03/2024 Setting the scene- A grey Wednesday afternoon, sat in my gym clothes on the sofa after dragging myself out to exercise this morning. A recording of ‘this morning’ playing in the background and a blooming lovely bunch of daffodils in my eye line.

Hello lovely readers,

Its wonderful to have you here to start a brand new sketchbook with me.

Think of this page as a bit of a blog, a little like a notebook and a lot like my artists sketchbook. A place for updates, thoughts, sketches and discussion points. A little peep inside my brain and whats taking up my time. For those of you that work in sketchbooks you’ll know that the hardest part is staring at a blank page wondering how it should begin. This is the beginning of a messy, imperfect record of stuff. A place for me to be honest and care free. A non-judgmental space where what I write might be seen by many or by no one.
