Young Carers
In partnership with Bedfordshire Young Carers, this four-day creative project gave young carers the chance to explore and express their experiences through visual art.
Participants were introduced to a wide range of techniques, including drawing, mark making, printing, weaving, and collage, building confidence and creative skills in a supportive environment.
Together, we created a series of final artworks, including a powerful collaborative banner that shared what a ‘normal day’ looks like for a young carer—highlighting how daily life can be very different for each individual.
The work was proudly exhibited locally to raise awareness, spark conversations, and honour the unseen care and strength carried by young people in our community.
